Google Pixel 7 prototype briefly listed on eBay, here's what it looks like
- A seller on eBay created a listing for a Google Pixel 7 prototype.
- The device includes all the hallmarks of a Google prototype, including the logo insignia.
- The phone is in working condition and looks very much like Google’s official renders.
At Google I/O 2022, the company showed off official renders of the upcoming Google Pixel 7 series. As expected, the phones look very similar to the Pixel 6 series with some subtle tweaks here and there.
However, we now have some real-life images of what the phone could look like thanks to a leaked prototype. The images appeared on an eBay auction, which has now been removed.
Check out the images for yourself below.
Google Pixel 7 prototype images
As you can see, there are few surprises here. The phone looks like a riff on the Pixel 6 series with a similar camera bar and overall design. The two lenses on the back indicate that this is the regular Pixel 7 and not the Pixel 7 Pro, which will have three lenses.
If you’ll look, you can see the usual prototype insignia Google uses in place of its usual “G” logo. You can also see the device boots up just fine and appears to be in full working condition.
It’s not clear why the seller pulled the listing so soon after posting it. The eBay listing has no reference to whether or not the item sold, which would usually be the case if someone had purchased it.
Either way, if you were excited to find out what the Pixel 7 will look like in real life, this is your best bet for now.
