Google Pixel will be available on October 20, says Rogers
Google’s Pixel and Pixel XL phones are still under wraps, but more and more details are trickling in. Verizon spilled the beans earlier today when it accidentally listed the two phones on its website, revealing pricing information for the two handsets. But while we’ve heard plenty of rumors about how much these devices will cost, we still haven’t heard a ton of details about when they’ll be available.
Until now, that is.
According to Canadian carrier Rogers, the Pixel and Pixel XL will be available on Thursday, October 20. This information leaked out via a sponsored advertisement on Facebook, which also revealed that pre-orders will begin today. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean global availability will follow the same schedule, so we’ll have to wait and see what Google says during the official announcement.
Oh, and it’s also worth noting that Rogers has a special pre-order offer for the Pixel. When you pre-order the device on Rogers, you’ll get 2GB of bonus data, a free $50 Google Play credit and a Chromecast. Not bad!
