The Pixel Watch 5 is about to get the Stephen Curry treatment
Aug 9, 2026 — 11:45 PM ET

- Google’s Stephen Curry edition Pixel Watch 5 has appeared in leaked marketing materials.
- The special edition is really about the band, with a woven design and Curry branding.
- It looks like Google is continuing its Curry collaboration from the Fitbit Air Special Edition to its flagship smartwatch.
Google looks set to bring Stephen Curry’s “Lock In” mantra to the Pixel Watch 5. A new leak from OnLeaks and MyMobiles has revealed what Google’s marketing material for a Stephen Curry Special Edition Pixel Watch 5, just days before the company is expected to announce the smartwatch. And while the name might make it sound like we’re getting a radically different watch, the special treatment is actually all about the band.
The leaked material shows the 45mm LTE Pixel Watch 5 paired with a woven loop band in stone gray and taupe, with bright orange accents and a striped section on the tail. A small brown label carries “STEPHEN CURRY” and “#LockIn” branding.

Furthermore, Google’s marketing materials note that the band was designed with the NBA star in mind and features a water-repellent coating for tough workouts.
The Curry edition is reportedly priced at €579.99 (~$669), compared with an expected €549 (~$634.11) for the standard 45mm LTE Pixel Watch 5. In other words, you’re paying roughly €31 (~$35) extra for the Curry treatment.
This isn’t Google’s first wearable collaboration with the basketball legend, either. The company launched a Stephen Curry Edition Fitbit Air earlier this year, featuring similar brown-and-orange colors, Curry branding, and a focus on workouts.
The Pixel Watch 5 edition appears to continue that same design language, rather than being a one-off collaboration.
Interestingly, the leaked render also shows the watch face displaying August 20, the date the Pixel Watch 5 is rumored to go on sale.
The Curry edition is expected to be limited, with Google’s own marketing reportedly warning that it will be available only while supplies last and “not available in all countries.” So if you were hoping to lock in with Steph yourself, availability may be the first thing standing in your way.
