The Google Pixel Watch and Pixel 6a seem to be drawing closer to launch
- The Google Pixel 6a and Pixel Watch have reportedly popped up on a US carrier’s inventory system.
- The information suggests that the devices could launch imminently.
Google could be getting ready to launch the long-rumored Pixel Watch as well as the Pixel 6a.
Sources have told folks over at Android Police that both the smartwatch and Google’s mid-range phone have popped up on an unnamed US carrier’s inventory system, suggesting that a launch could be near.
The Pixel Watch reportedly comes bearing the codename “Rohan.” The carrier’s database shows that it’ll sell in gray, black, and gold colorways. The information also points out that the Pixel Watch will get 32GB of internal storage. That’s the same amount of storage as the Apple Watch Series 7 and double the 16GB memory on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.
Interestingly, the carrier that lists the so-called Pixel Watch does not sell non-cellular smartwatches. So it’s highly likely that Google’s first smartwatch would come with eSIM connectivity.
Meanwhile, the Google Pixel 6a appears in the inventory with the previously rumored codename “Bluejay.” It’s listed in three colors — black, white, and green. All three options seemingly get 128GB internal storage. There’s nothing there to suggest any other storage variants.
Unfortunately, there’s no word on the price and availability of both upcoming Google devices.
