Here are the Play Store Users' Choice Awards 2019 winners (Update)
Update: December 10, 2019 (5:57 PM ET): Google officially announced this year’s Google Play Users’ Choice Awards winners. This year’s nominees covered content all across the Play Store and included apps, games, movies, and books. There was a lot of solid content to choose from, but only one could prevail in each category. Here are this year’s winners:
- Best app: Video Editor – Glitch Video Effects
- Best game: Call of Duty: Mobile
- Best movie: Avengers: Endgame
- Best ebook: Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

Original Article: November 11, 2019 (12:00 PM ET): The Google Play Store is full of apps, books, and movies for nearly every person in every scenario. And now, you get to help Google highlight some of the best ones. Today, Google is announcing this year’s Play Store Users’ Choice Awards, and participants get to vote for some of their favorite Play Store content.
The award categories include Users’ Choice App, Game, Movie, and Book. The shortlisted nominees were pre-selected from this year’s most-loved and trending offerings.
Some of the app and game nominees include Concepts, Boosted, Mario Kart Tour, and Brawl Stars. Some books and movies include Avengers: Endgame, John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and The Institute. There are many others to choose from in each category, so don’t forget to check out the full list of nominees for yourselves and vote for some of your favorites.
The polls are open right now until November 25. Google will announce the Play Store Users’ Choice Awards winners on December 3.
