Mobile World Congress 2023 is in full swing at the moment. At the event, we saw the newest flagship from HONOR — and it’s a beast.
The HONOR Magic 5 Pro is the company’s 2023 flagship. As such, it pulls out all the stops with 2023’s best processor, a top-of-the-line camera system, a huge battery, and super-fast wired and wireless charging. It also has a unique design that immediately sets it apart from the pack.
HONOR is putting a huge emphasis on the photographic capabilities of this new phone. Its hardware is exemplary, and the company boasts new algorithms to make capturing photos faster, easier, and with better results. Of course, we’ll need to put that all to the test ourselves to get an objective idea of how these claims stack up.

Price and availability
Being that this phone has one of the best spec sheets we’ve seen so far in 2023, it should be unsurprising to hear that it will cost you €1,199 (~$1,266). That’s for the model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, which is the only model available globally. HONOR told us it comes in two colors — black (shown throughout this article) and Meadow Green. However, at the launch, it showed off five colors: blue, light gray, and orange. We are unsure what these others colors are called or where/when they would be available.
Speaking of availability, HONOR did not tell us when or where you’ll be able to buy this phone.
