You might have captured something you don’t want anyone to see in a rush to take the picture during the two-minute window. Here’s how to delete a BeReal.

Go to your BeReal feed and tap on the three vertical dots icon next to your BeReal. Tap on Delete my BeReal, select why you want to delete it, and tap on the confirmation button.
As the warning says, you can delete your photo only once, so be careful when you re-take the picture. Even though you will still see the delete option, the button doesn’t work. You have two minutes to take a photo and can re-take it until you post it to your timeline, so make sure you don’t capture anything you don’t want to show.
How to delete a BeReal account
To delete your account, tap on your profile icon at the top right corner, and tap the three vertical dots icon at the top right corner. Select Contact us and tap on Delete my account.
Pick a reason you want to delete your account and tap on Yes, I’m sure to confirm. Your account and data will be deleted in 15 days.

Yes, you can take another photo to replace your deleted picture. But keep in mind that you can only do this once.
If it’s your second picture after deleting the first one, you will not be able to delete it. However, if the delete button isn’t working, close and relaunch the app to fix the bug.
