How to get Hulu on your Samsung TV
Once you power on your Samsung TV, the first thing to do is grab your remote. Not your cable box remote, but the one that came bundled with your TV. If you have a newer Samsung TV, it’s probably a slim remote with just a few buttons. Once you have it, follow these steps:
- Open your menu of apps using the home button.
- Navigate over to the option marked Apps and press Enter.
- Open the search bar and type in Hulu.
- Head to the Hulu icon and press Enter.
That’s all you have to do. You can also add Hulu to your TV’s home screen once it’s downloaded, but remember that your last three apps stay in the Recent tab, so that may be even easier. Now, let’s get you logged in.
How to log in to Hulu
When you launch Hulu for the first time, you’ll be greeted by a few options. One is to start a free trial, and the other is to log into your account. If you don’t have Hulu yet, start your trial and follow the on-screen directions. If you have Hulu, press the Log In button. Then follow these steps:
- Choose Log in on this device.
- Type your email address and password when prompted.
- Select your profile from the list and get to streaming.
Alternatively, you can log into your device using an activation code. This only really works if it’s your first time logging in on a new device. You’ll have to head to hulu.com/activate and enter the code displayed on your Samsung TV. Once you hit enter, you should receive a confirmation email and you’ll be off to the races.
