Make a call with your Galaxy Watch in three simple steps

Place phone calls right from your wrist on your Samsung Galaxy Watch. If you have a Bluetooth-only device, you will need to be connected to your paired smartphone. With an LTE model, you can place and answer calls even without your phone nearby.

  • On your Galaxy Watch, navigate to and tap the green Phone icon.
  • Tap the keypad icon to dial a number or the Contacts icon to select a specific contact.
  • Tap the green phone icon to make a call.
    • On a Wi-Fi model, your paired phone will make the call, and your Galaxy Watch will act as a speakerphone.
    • On an LTE model, tap either the phone icon or watch icon to use the paired phone or watch.

If you’re scrambling to find your phone before you miss a call, you can always answer incoming calls on your watch and then transfer over. On a Galaxy Watch 4 or Galaxy Watch 5 series device, tap the three dots, then tap Switch to phone. On all other Galaxy Watches, tap the phone icon in the center of the watch.

To answer an incoming phone call, simply swipe the green phone icon to the right. Conversely, swiping the red phone icon will decline an incoming call. If you receive a call while you are already on the phone, you can swipe the green phone icon, then tap Hold current call or End current call. If you choose to put the first call on hold, tap the three vertical dots, then tap Swap to return to the original call when ready.
