HTC Desire 630 now available in India for Rs. 14,990
Indian customers have a new entry-level device to choose from. HTC is throwing the Desire 630 into the fray, with an asking price of Rs. 14,990.
Announced at MWC 2016 alongside the Desire 530 and Desire 825, the HTCDesire 630 stands out through its finish – instead of the monochrome designs of most devices, HTCadorned the 630 with a finish called “duo color micro splash.” That’s fancy speak for tiny specks of color, either orange and grey on white or gold on grey. So there’s that.

The Desire 630’s specs are slightly more mundane: 5-inch HD LCD, Snapdragon 400, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 13MP camera, “great audio,” and a 2,200 mAh battery.
HTC announced it would launch the 630 in India back in May, but it took its sweet time making it happen. From this week you can finally buy the device for Rs. 14,990 directly from HTC or from offline stores across the country.
At this price (roughly $220), the Desire 630 will face heavyweights like Redmi Note 3, Lenovo ZUK Z1 or the new Moto G4 Plus, all of which offer better specifications at lower prices. Let’s just say it will be a hard sell.
