HUAWEI puts up cryptic teaser for the Ascend P8
There’s a mystery hooded man, walking around, stealing the light of an entire city, leaving people in the dark. But that’s a good thing!
That’s the gist of this 100-second teaser that HUAWEI put up for the Ascend P8 release, scheduled for next week in London. The device is rumored to feature a dual-lens camera, and judging from “capture the wonder of light” theme of the teaser, we expect a wide aperture (perhaps f/1.8 like on the LG G4?), optical image stabilization, or some other feature that allows for capturing good images in low light conditions.
Other rumored features include a 16nm Kirin 930 processor, a 2600 mAh battery, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of on-board storage, and a fingerprint scanner, all packed in a body that’s just 6 millimeters thick. As for the appearance of the P8, this alleged product schematics should give you a good idea of what to expect. The device can be seen — very briefly — at the 0:49 mark in the teaser.
HUAWEI will unveil the Ascend P8 on April 15 in London, and we’ll be there to bring you the lowdown.
