Here is the HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro in Black, Blue, and Twilight colors

We’ve had a good look at some of the devices HUAWEI plans to launch in October, including the HUAWEI Mate 20 and the HUAWEI Freebuds 2 Pro. But we haven’t seen much on the true star of the event: the HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro.

Now, via WinFuture, we finally have some high quality leaked images of the HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro.

The three images leaked show the device in three different color schemes: black, blue, and the familiar Twilight color, which we saw previously on the HUAWEI P20 Pro. The images also seem to confirm the triple camera on the rear of the device and the very large notch on the front.

Unfortunately, if you were hoping for a smaller notch than the one that appeared on the P20 Pro (or at the very least a notch of the same size), the HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro looks to have a notch as big or even bigger than the one on the HUAWEI Mate 20 Lite. There are likely a lot of sensors crammed into there, but from the images above it does not appear to pack two camera lenses.

The images also appear to suggest that the device will have an in-display fingerprint scanner, although it might instead opt for only face unlock technology.

Considering that we are only about three weeks out from the launch of the Mate 20 Pro, we know surprisingly little about the device. We know it will feature the first 7-nanometer chipset in an Android device (the Kirin 980) and that’s about it. HUAWEI is doing a great job of keeping the specs of the device under wraps.
