HUAWEI launches nova 3 and 3i in India with AI-powered quad camera
In a press conference in New Delhi, Huawei unveiled the HUAWEI nova series in India with the nova 3 and nova 3i smartphones. Both HUAWEI nova 3 and nova 3i pack in dual cameras – both on front and back – with AI capabilities like scene recognition.
The HUAWEI nova series feature a large 6.3-inch Full View display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and minimal bezels as well as a notch.
The nova 3i sports Kirin 710 SoC, HUAWEI’s first 12nm chip that packs an improved image signal processor as well as an all-new discrete digital signal processor for video processing. The nova 3 sports a Kirin 970 SoC, a new generation of hyper-fast mobile chip with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

The nova 3 boasts of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and is priced at ₹34,999 ($510) while the nova 3i boasts of 4GB RAM and 128GB storage and is priced at ₹20,990 ($306).
The nova 3i is available for pre-booking on Amazon.in starting today, while the sale would start on August 7. The nova 3 would be coming soon, although no specific date has been shared.
