HUAWEI to launch a smartwatch alongside the P40 series — check out the renders
HUAWEI already confirmed it would announce the P40 series during an online event on March 26. But a recent post on the company’s official Twitter account reveals the lineup won’t be making a solo appearance. HUAWEI’s latest Android devices will be accompanied by its next smartwatch: the HUAWEI Watch GT 2e.
Between the company’s HUAWEI Watch GT 2e teaser video and a series of other official tweets, it’s apparent that this next entry in the company’s wearable lineup will be fitness-focused.

We also got a potential look at the smartwatch thanks to leaked press renders and a spec sheet acquired by WinFuture. The renders (pictured above) reveal three different color variants: black, red, and green.
The HUAWEI Watch GT 2e should retain a similar 1.39-inch display as its predecessor, the Watch GT 2 (our review). It should also tout a 46mm crown, 4GB of internal storage, a heart rate sensor, and a 455mAh battery that promises up to 14 days of battery life.
So far, there is no official information about pricing, though WinFuture notes it could come in somewhere around €200 (~$217).
