Learn how to save more than $100 in the first year with the new Hulu-Spotify bundle
These days, many of us subscribe to multiple streaming services for all sorts of content ranging from music, movies, television, and the list goes on. Spotify and Hulu want to make things at least a tad easier for you, offering a new Hulu Spotify bundle that gives you services from both companies for just one low price of $12.99.
At the surface, this sounds like a heck of a deal. But what all do you get for that price and are there any catches? Good question.
What’s included: Spotify Premium and Hulu with ads
The new Hulu Spotify bundle includes a full Spotify Premium subscription. The Hulu side of things is the ad-infused variant, not the more expensive ad-free experience. If you don’t mind ads, this is still a pretty good deal when you consider separate subscriptions for the ad-based Hulu and Spotify Premium would run users around $18, a $5 savings.
If you don’t have Hulu currently you can even get Hulu for 3 months at a cost of just an extra $.99 on top of your current Spotify monthly payment. After the 3 months are up, you can either cancel or automatically upgrade to the Hulu Spotify bundle, charged at a rate of $12.99.
Yes, there is a catch…
There’s always one, isn’t there?
Unfortunately the Spotify Hulu bundle is only being offered to current Spotify Premium customers. Also you can’t be a Premium Family Plan member either. The current Hulu Spotify offer is also only available on April 11 through May 10. That said, the company does say they plan to extend the promotion to non-Spotify Premium members in the future.
In other words, it’s likely that after this test run they will probably open it up again in the near future to even more folks.
Already have a regular ole’ Spotify Premium account? If so, you can sign up for the new bundle here.
