Immortal Conquest brings high-end strategy gaming to Android
If you are an old-school PC gamer who loved epic strategy games such as the Civilization series and Age of Empires, there’s a new game for Android that could be right up your alley. It’s called Immortal Conquest from publisher NetEase and it’s now available to download from the Google Play Store in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
The game takes place in a fantasy world, where you have to build up your armies by harvesting and gathering resources to create new military units. The game has online multiplayer options that allow you to form alliances with other players, but those diplomatic partnerships can also be broken. Ultimately you must choose up to three hero units, each of which has his or her own characteristics and skills, so they lead your growing army. There are over 300 of these “Gairo” heroes to choose from and the game gives these characters better powers as your armies get larger.
Ultimately, Immortal Conquest will make you face your adversaries in huge battles, and the game itself has a huge world map made up of two million pieces of land. After one alliance wins, the map refreshes and the race to build a new army begins again. Keep in mind that while Immortal Conquest is free to download and play, it does have in-game purchase options.
