The most notable expected change for the iPhones this year is the re-introduction of a Plus model. Due to the lack of success for the Mini line, Apple will likely announce an iPhone 14 Plus, which will act as a larger version of the vanilla iPhone.
Another big rumor is that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max might get the usual processor upgrade but the non-Pro models won’t. This would be a big shift for the entire world of iPhones if it pans out.
Finally, a third potential big shift is the removal of the notch on the Pro models. The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max could have pill-shaped cutouts instead.
Outside of these three big shifts, however, we’re not expecting too many crazy differences as compared to last year.
iPhone 14 livestream: Other expected products
Along with the new iPhones, we expect to see some other hardware at this event. There could be a new Apple Watch including the potential introduction of a Pro model. This device could be bigger and come with an extra hardware button.
Meanwhile, we could finally see a second-gen set of AirPods Pro at this iPhone 14 livestream.
