It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia finally gets a mobile game and it sounds hilarious
- It’s Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile is an upcoming game based on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
- The game promises to include plenty of iconic moments from the TV show.
- It will be free-to-play and will be released sometime in 2018.
FoxNext Games and East Side Games have announced a new title based on the TV series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The game is called It’s Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile and it follows the cast of the show as they embark on a new money-making scheme.
The concept of the game is that Frank recruits the gang to help him hide dirty money from the feds. Unsurprisingly, Mac, Dennis, and Dee can’t agree on a laundering scheme, so the responsibility falls to Charlie to hide the cash. What could go wrong, right?
There is also this cryptic note from Charlie that could offer clues about the story.
FoxNext say the game promises to feature plenty of storylines and iconic moments from the show, so it is likely to strike a chord with fans. The game will be free-to-play and character art suggests it will have a similar style to East Side Game’s previous offerings Pot Farm and Trailer Park Boys.
However, besides these details, there isn’t much info to go on about what it will actually play like.
The game is coming at some point in 2018. Season 13 of It’s Always Sunny starts on Sept. 5, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if it was released around that time. If you want to stay up-to-date with the latest news and have a chance of being amongst the first to play the game, then you can register at the official site.
