Latest Samsung Pay promo: a $20 voucher for new users

As with all new fangled concepts, the key to success is largely based on mass scale public buy-in, at least when it comes to things like alternative banking and financing options. The whole NFC craze has taken off in earnest in the USA now that Apple, Google, and Samsung are in with their own payment platforms, but there’s still work to be done.

Samsung USA, in seeking to suggest its Samsung Pay solution for shopping situations, is now offering customers in said territory a value proposition: anyone who purchases a compatible Samsung smartphone and makes a Pay purchase between now and August 1st will receive a $20 e-credit voucher for use at its website, Samsung.com.

What’s more, for customers shopping on a Friday, from 12PM to 7PM EST, the first 777 customers to make a Samsung Pay purchase will receive a $10 gift card that may be redeemed at various participating merchants, including Best Buy, Domino’s Pizza, American Eagle Outfitters, Nike, Game Stop, P.F. Changs, and even Regal Entertainment Group. This promotion will run until July 8th.
