CES 2023: You probably can't afford LG's latest TVs
- LG has shown off a variety of screens at CES 2023.
- This includes a $25,000 OLED TV and a $250,000 micro-LED TV.
- The company also showed off a new projector and previously revealed monitors.
“LG invented an algorithm that instantly identifies the optimal transmission path to ensure seamless wireless data transmission between the wireless box and the TV,” the company explained. LG added that this wire-free approach simplifies installation, with the wireless box ostensibly offering a variety of connections (e.g. HDMI) rather than the TV itself. The M3 isn’t cheap, though, coming in at $24,999.99. This wasn’t the only pricey LG TV on offer, as it also revealed a 136-inch micro-LED TV coming in at a crazy $250,000. But this represents a $50,000 saving over the previous model’s $300,000 price tag.
What else did LG show off?
Not quite in the market for a TV? Then LG revealed the PU700R CineBeam 4K Projector (seen above), capable of projecting images up to 120-inches in size at 1000 ANSI lumens. The projector also offers features like the Web OS platform and the ability to connect two pairs of Bluetooth earphones at once. Expect to pay $1,699 for the PU700R when it lands on January 23.
Finally, LG also showed off the previously announced UltraGear OLED monitors and OLED Flex display. The former brings a 240Hz refresh rate in 27-inch QHD+ and 45-inch WQHD flavors. Meanwhile, the OLED Flex screen lets you switch between flat and curved form factors. Keen on the UltraGear monitors? Then you’ll be paying $999.99 for the 27-inch model and $1,699.99 for the 45-inch variant. Prefer the OLED Flex? Then you’ll need to pay $2,999.99.
