Vlogging with a smartphone: LG V20 Berlin edition
While in Berlin for IFA 2016, we decided it would be fun to give the LG V20 a whirl as a vlogging device. After all, LG’s latest flagship has some pretty impressive cameras strapped to it, with wide-angle shot capabilities on both the front and back. But can it replace conventional vlogging equipment? Take a walk with us through Berlin as we find out.
Vlogging with the LG V20 doesn’t feel as restrictive as smartphone vlogging can sometimes be. The ability to swap between normal and wide-angle shots in a snap gives you a lot of flexibility, and you can get pretty creative with it. You can even use both the front and rear cameras simultaneously, which let us catch everyone sitting around the table at once.
The Steady Record feature makes shooting and walking much less jarring for the viewer, and the wide-angle mode combines great with timelapse shots. Although it’s certainly not as good as a DSLR, the LG V20 may just be the video blogger’s dream smartphone. Take a look at our video for the full scoop.
But what do you think? Is the LG V20 the perfect daily driver for the vlogger on the go? Let us know your impressions so far in the comments!
