Meizu 15 Plus image leak points to ultra-slim bezels and dual rear cameras
- Images of the Meizu 15 Plus, a rumored upcoming flagship, may have just leaked.
- The device is speculated to have slim bezels, a dual rear-camera setup, and a Snapdragon 845 chip.
- It’s expected to launch in March for around $560 alongside the standard Meizu 15.
Meizu just announced a new handset last week, the Meizu M6s, but it looks like another could be on the way soon. Gizmochina (via GSMArena) got its hands on some leaked device diagrams earlier today, reportedly for a Meizu handset known as the Meizu 15 Plus. And it looks like it could be quite something.
While the M6s boasted features that were popular a couple of years ago, like a fast fingerprint scanner, this rumored device appears to be more contemporary.
The Meizu 15 Plus would have, by all accounts, a well-optimized display area with three virtually bezel-less sides and what would likely be an 18:9 aspect ratio. What’s more, it’s expected to come with premium components inside, such as a Snapdragon 845 chip, as well as 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM options.
It also looks like there will be a dual rear camera, but we don’t yet know what the other circle on the rear of the device represents—a fingerprint scanner seems like the most obvious proposition, but Gizmochina suggests that it could be a laser focus or ring LED flash too.
The Meizu 15 Plus is said to be going on sale for CNY3,599 (approximately $560) in March to celebrate Meizu’s 15th anniversary. It’s anticipated to arrive alongside a standard Meizu 15 variant also.
Hopefully, we’ll have more information on this device soon. Until then, what are your thoughts on the Meizu 15 Plus? Let us know in the comments.
