Microsoft’s 2026 Surface Laptop gets a $450 Amazon discount

Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop is a premium 2026 model built for people who want strong everyday performance in a compact design, and there’s a solid deal on it right now on Amazon. This 13.8-inch version packs high-end hardware for multitasking, larger local storage, and a touchscreen display that keeps the Surface line’s sleek, portable style.

The configuration on sale uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite 12-core processor, along with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. That gives it the kind of setup that makes sense for heavier workloads, whether you keep lots of apps open, work with large files, or just want plenty of room for documents, media, and downloads. It also has a 13.8-inch 2K touchscreen, and Microsoft positions this model around AI-accelerated performance for faster multitasking and more demanding daily use. Depending on the retailer and setup, the Surface Laptop is also sold in colors like Dune, Black, Jade, and Platinum.

Now for the deal: the Microsoft Surface Laptop has dropped to $1,549 on Amazon, down from its $1,999.99 recommended retail price. That’s a 23% discount off the RRP, which works out to a savings of $450. It’s also the best deal we’ve seen on it this year. On top of that, it carries a strong 4.6-star Amazon rating.

For anyone eyeing a new premium Windows laptop, this is a good time to grab the latest Surface Laptop while the price is down.
