Microsoft's Forza Street racing game launches for Android later in 2019
One of Microsoft’s most popular game series is the Forza car racing franchise. Now, the company is expanding the series to Android and iOS platforms. Microsoft today officially announced Forza Street, a free-to-play racing game that’s out now for Windows 10 users, but will expand to Android and iOS phones and tablets later this year.
The game itself centers on street racing, as players take control of various vehicles, with the goal, of course, to win events. Players can go through various single player races and chapters. After they win, they can get points to upgrade their existing cars with better parts or to get new and faster vehicles.
While the main Forza Motorsport game series for Xbox and PC platforms are for racing sim fans, it looks like Forza Street is made for casual gamers who want a more arcade experience. Racers will have to focus their efforts on hitting the gas and brake pedals and timing their boosts to win races.
Unfortunately, Forza Street is strictly a single player experience for Windows 10, but Microsoft says they plan to add new features to the game in the months ahead. Hopefully, we will see multiplayer added to the game when it arrives for Android.
