Google Pixel 3 Lite prototype has 3.5mm jack, Snapdragon 670, plastic build
- Images and specs of a prototype of a mid-range Google Pixel 3 Lite just leaked to the internet.
- The prototype has a similar form factor as the Google Pixel 3, but with a plastic build.
- The Google Pixel 3 Lite prototype has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670.
Speculation abounded that Google would release a third, cheaper variant of its Google Pixel 3 line, but no announcement was made at the October launch event. Now, however, we have images and specs of a prototype which appears to be the Google Pixel 3 Lite.
The photos and specs of the mysterious prototype come from an anonymous source who shared the information with Rozetked. You’ll remember Rozetked from the Google Pixel 3 XL leaks that took the internet by storm earlier this year.
Since the Pixel 3 XL leaks turned out to be mostly true, we can only assume this Google Pixel 3 Lite leak will pan out in a similar fashion.
According to the leaked images, the Google Pixel 3 Lite prototype is made of plastic, rather than the premium glass materials used for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The device also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, which no Pixel device has had since the original came out in 2016.
The form factor of the prototype seems similar to the Google Pixel 3, in that it is not as big as the Google Pixel 3 XL. It also does not feature a display notch.

According to Rozetked, these are the specs of the Google Pixel 3 Lite prototype:
- 5.56-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2,220 x 1,080.
- Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 670
- Adreno 615 GPU
- 4GB of RAM
- 32GB of internal storage
- 2,915mAh battery
- 12MP rear camera / 8MP front-facing camera
According to the anonymous leaker, who claims to have used the device for some time now, the camera in this prototype is the same as the camera in the Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL. If that’s true, essentially you’re getting the biggest and best feature of the Pixel 3 line but with a cheaper build and less powerful specs.
