Moto G4 in White appears in new leaked render
In the past few days, it’s been Motorola madness as a bevy of leaks have spring forth, all purporting to picture the company’s new devices. What started with a blurrycam pic has evolved into a much more liberal look, and now perhaps the best one yet: seemingly nothing short of what appears to be a press render. The image has been Tweeted by veteran leaker, Evan Blass (@evleaks):
Pictured is what looks like the Moto G4 in White – a first for the color as far as the recent leaks go – complete with a front fingerprint sensor. As yesterday’s YouTube video leak – which has now been removed – showed a similar device without such a component however, it lends more likelihood to the legitimacy of a Moto G4 Pro model.
Here are some additional shots of the Moto G4 – with purported fingerprint sensor – that have been leaked in the past week:
With these leaks comes the question of Moto Maker, especially should the Moto devices of 2016 use metal as some – or perhaps all – of them might. Will Motorola still be able to offer the same level of customization or will the unique “made by design” type system be pared down or even stopped entirely?
Given that the situation has now gone from rumors and details to actual pictures of the purported product, it is no doubt just a matter of time before Motorola (or its parent company Lenovo) officiate the offering and announce it formally.
