Moto Z3 Play: Price, availablity and release date
The Moto Z3 Play is the latest entry in Motorola’s premiere mid-range smartphone series. The phone includes a faster processor and more RAM than the year-old Moto Z2 Play, along with a dual rear camera setup for the first time. It also still supports Moto Mods, which attach to the back of the device, adding extra batteries, gamepads and more.

So where can you get your hands on the Moto Z3 Play? Most importantly, how much will it cost to get one? Everything we know is right here, and we will update this post with more information as it is released by Motorola and its supporting carriers.
Moto Z3 Play price
In the U.S., the unlocked version of the phone is being sold directly by Motorola for the promo price of $349.99. If you live in Brazil, you can go ahead and pick up the Moto Z3 Play right now for the local price of 1,799 Brazilian real (~$467). The phone is priced unlocked in Canada at around CA$800 (~$609).
Moto Z3 Play release date and availability in the U.S.
The Moto Z3 Play is now on sale in the U.S. As mentioned, the unlocked version of the phone is now available directly from Motorola. It comes with 64GB of onboard storage. If you buy it from the company on its website, you also get either Moto Mod Power Pack 2,000Ah battery or a Moto Smart Speaker with Amazon Alexa for free.
Best Buy also sells the unlocked Moto Z3 Play for the promo price of $249.99 with 64GB of storage and the Moto Mod Power Pack. Walmart sells the phone for $349.99 and Target sells it for $499.99
Amazon sells it with the same onboard storage and the Moto Mod Power Pack for $429.90 for standard shoppers. However, members of Amazon Prime can get the phone for $349.99.
Sprint sells the Moto Z3 Play, but only offers it with 32GB of storage and no free Moto Mod battery. It has priced the phone at $360, or you can get it for $15 a month for 24 months.
UScellular has the Moto Z3 Play with 64GB, but without the Moto Mod battery. Its price is $509.70, or $11.99 a month for 30 months.
Moto Z3 Play release date and availability in Canada
Videotron sells the Moto Z3 Play with 32GB of storage and no free Moto Mod battery. It’s priced at CA$699.99 unlocked or for CA$68.95 a month for 12 months.
Bell Canada offers the phone with 32GB of storage for CA$799.99 unlocked or for CA$70 a month
Virgin Mobile Canada has priced the Moto Z3 Play for CA$799.99 unlocked, or for CA$649.99 on a two-year Silver plan with payments of CA$45 a month.
SaskTell sells the phone with 32GB of storage, but throws in a free JBL Speaker Moto Mod. It’s priced at CA$699.99 unlocked or for CA$49.99 a month with a two-year plan
