Motorola Droid Turbo is now available for purchase from Verizon, announced by a death-defying James Franco video
After constant teaser videos from Verizon and megastar James Franco, the Motorola Droid Turbo is finally official on Verizon’s website. The video, now featured on the DroidDoes site, shows off some of the Turbo’s greatest features. In the video, the 2.7 GHz quad-core processor, Kevlar back, and turbo charging all help to save Franco’s life. Thanks for saving the life of one of our favorite actors, Droid Turbo!
As for the phone’s availability, you can now purchase it directly from Verizon’s site in black, red, or ballistic nylon (64GB only). The 32GB version can be yours for $199.99 on-contract (or $24.99/month on EDGE), and the 64GB costs $249.99 on-contract (or $27.08/month on EDGE). If you’re looking to buy off-contract, the 32GB model comes in at $599.99, or the 64GB for $649.99.
Though the pricing options for the Turbo are somewhat of a standard for flagship devices nowadays, we can’t help but notice the killer specs that it brings. Among others, a stock Android experience, huge 3,900 mAh battery, 21MP camera, 3GB of RAM, and a Quad HD screen all have us chomping at the bit to buy this thing.
Are you buying a Droid Turbo? For those not with Verizon, would you be interested in the handset if it ever launched outside of Verizon under a different name?
