Motorola Moto G Pure leak shows off the latest in the budget phone series
- A newly leaked press image shows off the unannounced Motorola Moto G Pure smartphone.
- The phone is expected to have a 6.5-inch display, a 4,000mAh battery, and two rear cameras.
- Another report says the phone will go on sale in North America sometime in mid-October.
Motorola is one of the best companies in terms of releasing solid smartphones for people on a budget. This week, a new press image posted by noted gadget leaker Evan Blass on Twitter showed off a new entry in the Moto G series. The leaked Moto G Pure photo looks very similar to other phones in the G series.
The image shows a phone with a teardrop notch for the front-facing camera on top of the display. In the back, we can see a dual rear camera setup along with a rear fingerprint sensor. The press image also claims the phone will have two-day battery life.
Another site, Zouton, (via Android Central) claims to have more specific hardware specs on the Moto G Pure. It reports that it could have a 6.5-inch display and a plastic back with an aluminum frame. It could have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There might also be a Helio G25 processor inside, along with a 48MP main rear camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5MP front camera. The phone is also reported to have a 4,000mAh battery, a headphone jack, and Android 11 installed. The story also claims it will come in two color choices: Electric Graphite and Lagoon Green.
Zouton says the Moto G Pure could go on sale in North America sometime in mid-October. It claims the price of the phone might be between $300 and $350. However, based on the rather low hardware specs, Android Central predicts the phone could be sold for as low as $150. We will have to wait and see which one is correct.
