Here's our first look at the Moto G8 Plus, launching later this month
For all you Motorola fans out there, the company could release a new mid-range, camera-centric device by the end of the month. The handset in question is the Motorola Moto G8 Plus, and it is expected to hit shelves as soon as October 24.
According to WinFuture, the Moto G8 Plus will launch with an impressive three-camera setup. It will feature a 48MP primary shooter, a 16MP 117-degree ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. What looks like a fourth camera is present on the back of the device as well, but the cutout just houses the laser auto-focus mechanism.
Moving around to the front of the device, even the G8 Plus’ front-facing camera boasts an upgrade over the last-generation G7 line. It houses a 25MP sensor that creates a relatively small notch in the 6.3-inch 2,280 x 1,080 display.
The G8 Plus will come with the Snapdragon 665 SoC, 4GB of RAM, a hefty 4,000 mAh battery, and a microSD expansion slot. It should come in two colors — blue and red — and two storage capacities –64GB and 128GB.

Unfortunately, the device looks like it will launch with Android 9. We have no idea if or when Motorola will update the G8 Plus to Android 10, but we hope it will be sooner than later.
We currently don’t know how much the device will cost, but Motorola is expected to unveil it at the October 24 event in Brazil. European markets can expect a subsequent launch shortly afterward.
