Motorola confirms the Razr leaks were right on the money
The Motorola Razr reboot is coming in hot. Hours ahead of the launch, Motorola has confirmed the design of the 2019 Razr. The company has changed the cover photo on its official US Twitter account with an image of the the upcoming Moto Razr. Even the Motorola India Twitter account has been updated with the same dark cover image, suggesting an India launch for the phone. It’s the same case for local pages in Europe.
What we see is the not-so-slim side profile of the Razr with its formidable chin. We can also make out part of the hinge mechanism and the camera bump on the phone. The volume and power buttons rest on the top half of the phone.
With this image, Motorola has more or less confirmed previous leaks of the 2019 Razr. The phone was previously spotted in a hands-on image, followed by a full-blown design leak by reliable tipster Evan Blass.
We had our own theories from what we would like to see on the foldable Motorola Razr. You can read about them here.
Leaked specs for the new Razr suggest it will come with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. It could get 4GB and 6GB of RAM options matched with 64GB or 128GB of storage, and a 2,730mAh battery.
In terms of display, the Moto Razr is tipped to feature a 600 x 800 pixel cover display and a 6.2-inch panel when it folds out.
