If you want bragging rights in your PC gaming group, MSI has something you might want to check out. During CES 2023, the company will officially launch the new version of its high-end Titan GT77 gaming notebook. This new edition will be the first laptop to have a 4K 144Hz Mini LED display.
What does that mean? MSI says that the notebook’s screen will be made by AUO’s AmLED Mini LED technology. The laptop’s display will have a brightness of 1000 nits. That’s about 2.5 times brighter compared to normal LCD displays. The new Titan GT77 notebook will have 1,008 dimming zones on its display. It will also have AmLED’s Adaptive Control Technology, which is supposed to adjust images in real-time dynamically.
The notebook will also have VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut for excellent color as well. MSI says that each Mini LED panel will be examined before its put into the notebook.
MSI has yet to reveal any other hardware info on the new Titan GT77, but we expect to see a high-end CPU and NVIDIA GPUs inside. Expect to also pay a high price for all this gaming notebook goodness. The current version of the Titan GT77 is priced at about $2,600.
