Back near the end of 2014, EA announced that the next game in its popular Need for Speed series, named No Limits, would be making its way to Android at some point this year. A the time it was stated that the Firemonkeys development team was trying to squeeze as much power as possible from mobile GPUs with this game and the latest teaser video (above) suggests that they have done an excellent job.
There has been a fair bit of talk about console quality mobile graphics over the past few months and No Limits certainly appears to make the most of our low-power mobile GPU tech. Need for Speed: No Limits is being developed by the team behind Real Racing 3, so we can expect a few in-app purchases in the game come release. Most likely in the form of the series’ familiar customization features and wide selection of cars to choose from.
EA states that Need for Speed: No Limits will be coming to the Google Play Store sometime this year.
