Us old time gamers always seem to jump off our seats when we hear about classic games finally coming to mobile. Do you remember the good old Neo Geo console? There were plenty of awesome games for it, among the most popular were titles like Metal Slug, King of Fighters and the title we are talking about today – Neo Turf Masters.

DotEmu has announced they are bringing Neo Turf Masters to mobile devices. The release is set for June 30th, and though no platforms were specified, we are nearly sure Android and iOS are on the list.

The title was released in 1996 and became popular for its realism (not that you can really consider it realistic anymore). Golf courses could become pretty tricky, and factors like the wind affected your performance.

In the game, you are able to select from 6 players from the US, UK, Japan, Germany, Australia and Brazil. Each competitive golfer has a different skill set. Players can also choose different clubs and hooks to make the right shot for each occasion.

No details on pricing have been revealed, but this is a port, so it will probably be a one-time payment, as it is not modeled for in-app purchases. Most of DotEmu’s games range within $2-$5, so we can also assume Neo Turf Masters will be within that price range. So there you have it, guys! Mark your calendars for June 30th. Who is signing up?
