New Fossil Gen 5, Hybrid HR, and Sport colors offer something for everyone
Fossil always brings its A-game to CES, and this year is no different. SKAGEN (a Fossil subsidiary) unveiled the Falster 3 and Diesel (a Fossil partner brand) showed off its awesome-looking Fadelite watch. Fossil isn’t showing off any brand new smartwatches, but it’s adding new colors and styles to three of its popular existing lines: the Fossil Gen 5, Fossil Hybrid HR, and Fossil Sport.
There are a lot of new Fossil smartwatches to cover here, so let’s jump right in.
New Fossil Gen 5 Smartwatches
The Fossil Gen 5, currently our favorite Wear OS smartwatch on the market, is getting a new model. The new Fossil Gen 5 Garrett will be available in five color options: dark grey stainless steel, stainless steel with a blue silicone strap, stainless steel with a red and blue bezel, silver with a black silicone strap, and yellow-gold. These watches will go for $295.
The Fossil Gen 5 Julianna is getting three new color options this Spring: rose gold with a tortoise shell leather strap, rose gold with a silver mesh strap, and yellow-gold with a mesh strap. These new Julianna models will also be available later this year for $295.
Fossil Sport Jelly
The Fossil Sport is getting a handful of new colors, too: five to be exact. Fossil is calling these the Fossil Sport Jelly smartwatches. New colors include yellow, blue, pink, mint, and a blush pink color. All five are adorned by a semi-transparent strap of the same color.
If I had to choose, I’d go for that yellow model. Man, that’s nice.
New Fossil Hybrid HR
Fossil is launching one new color of its existing Collider Hybrid HR smartwatch, and a new Dive model with three color options. The Collider Hybrid HR still sports a brown leather strap, but it’s more orange than the model we reviewed a few months ago. This model will go for $195.
The new Hybrid HR Dive watches are a bit busier looking than the Collider. They all have hour and minute markers around the bezel, plus five-minute markers around the watch case. These models come in three colors: dark grey stainless steel, silver stainless steel, or a black and silver with a silicone strap. These watches go for $215.
Two new Hybrid HR Charter styles are launching, too. The Charter watch with a blush silicone strap will go for $195, while the gold-tone stainless steel model will cost $215.
All of these new Fossil smartwatches will be available for purchase Sunday, January 26 on Fossil.com. Interested in any in particular? Let me know!
