How to download and set wallpapers on your phone

Again, don’t simply try to download the images directly from the previews below. These will work, but they’re compressed, downsized images optimized for smoother web page loading. Instead, click on the download button toward the end of this post.

Either download the files straight from your smartphone or transfer them using something like Google Drive, send yourself an email, USB, or Bluetooth. When the wallpapers are on your phone, follow the steps below to set them as your wallpaper.

Note: We’ve put together these steps using a Google Pixel 7 running Android 13. Remember that some of these steps will differ depending on your device and software version.

How to change the wallpaper on your phone:

1. Launch the Settings app.
2. Go into Wallpaper & style.
3. Select Change wallpaper.
4. Go into My photos and pick the wallpaper you want to set.
5. You’ll be presented with a preview of the wallpaper. Tap on Set Wallpaper when done adjusting it.
6. Select if you wish to use the wallpaper for your Home screen, Lock Screen, or Home and lock screens.
7. Done!
