Now available in India, Gionee Marathon M5 Plus has a 5,020-mAh battery

There’s no shortage of large phones in the Indian market. But you’ll be hard pressed to find a device with a 5020-mAh battery!

Now available in India, the Gionee Marathon M5 Plus delivers outstanding battery life and other top features in a sleek metallic design.

As a quick aside, while the battery capacity is positively massive, the M5 Plus’ battery is actually smaller than its sibling’s, the Marathon M5, which has a 6,020-mAh unit.

Where the M5 Plus outshines the M5 is in the security department, thanks to the inclusion of a front-mounted fingerprint reader. Other noteworthy specs include a luscious 6-inch AMOLED display of Full HD resolution, a MediaTek octa-core processor, and a 13MP rear camera.

Still, if you must have a tremendous battery in your life, the Marathon M5 Plus is the way to go, at least until Xiaomi brings the equally impressive Mi Max to India.
