Here's our first look at the OnePlus 10 Pro's design, but approach with caution
- A set of renders of what could be the OnePlus 10 Pro just leaked.
- The renders show a unique camera module that you’ll likely either love or hate.
- However, the renders are based on photos of an early prototype, so don’t take these as set in stone yet.
In early 2022, we expect to see the next flagships from OnePlus. These phones will no doubt be some of the hottest releases of the year.
Now, we have our first look at what could be the OnePlus 10 Pro (assuming OnePlus sticks with its usual naming scheme). The renders show off a phone with a very unique rear camera module. Frankly, we’ve never seen anything quite like it.
These images come from reliable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (via Zouton). However, unlike most of Hemmerstoffer’s output, these renders are not based on CAD files of the product headed to production. Instead, these are renders based on some leaked photos of a real-life prototype that allegedly are the OnePlus 10 Pro.
In other words, these renders might not be wholly reflective of the final product. In fact, the eventual retail device could look nothing like this. As such, approach the renders with heavy skepticism.
Regardless, check out the renders below.
OnePlus 10 Pro leaked renders
The most striking thing about these OnePlus 10 Pro renders is the rear camera module. It appears to take some inspiration from the Galaxy S21 series by recessing the module into the body to avoid a large bump. However, it doesn’t extend all the way to the top, which leaves a major portion of the upper body untouched by the module.
It’s also worth noting that the module only shows three camera lenses. Could this mean OnePlus might drop the monochrome sensor of the OnePlus 9 Pro and go with just a standard wide/ultra-wide/telephoto setup?
What do you think of these early OnePlus 10 Pro renders?
Once again, these renders are pretty shaky, so we’re not going to draw any conclusions yet. Still, this very well could be what the OnePlus 10 Pro ends up looking like.
