Android 9 Pie rolling out to the OnePlus 3 and 3T around the globe

Android 9 Pie is now rolling out to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T around the globe. The company announced the global rollout earlier this morning in an email to Android Authority. This news arrives just one month after Android Pie was pushed out to the OnePlus 3 and 3T beta channels.

Android 9 Pie brings plenty of user-facing and under-the-hood improvements to the OS. You can read all about them in our full review here. The OnePlus 3 and 3T Android 9 update also brings the April 2019 Android security patch, a new do not disturb mode, Gaming Mode 3.0, Google Lens integration in the camera app, and Google Duo integration in the phone app.

This will likely be the last major update for these phones.
