OnePlus 7 is not coming to the US, but the 6T is getting a price cut
With the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro finally going official, it’s only a matter of time until the OnePlus 6T goes by the wayside. Until then, you will be able to get $30 off the 2018 flagship on OnePlus’ website, starting May 17. That’s especially good news for customers in the United States, where the cheaper OnePlus 7 won’t be available at all.
OnePlus 7 Pro review: Bigger and brighter, but is it better?
Thanks to the discount, the OnePlus 6T with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage goes from $579 to $549. Meanwhile, the version with double the storage goes from $629 to $599.
Even with the newer OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro available later this week, the OnePlus 6T is only six months old. The Snapdragon 845 and healthy amounts of RAM and storage keep the phone feeling speedy. On the software front, the phone runs Android 9 Pie out of the box and is slated to get at least two major versions of Android.
Other noteworthy specs include a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2,340 x 1,080) resolution, dual rear 16 and 20MP cameras, a 3,700mAh battery, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Also, the OnePlus 6T is eligible for the company’s Android Q beta. You can go here to learn how to sign up for the ongoing beta.
