Fresh OnePlus 6T leak may have revealed price, RAM/storage, launch colors
- A new leak has allegedly revealed pricing for the OnePlus 6T in India.
- The report also details the various RAM and internal storage totals for each model.
- The leak suggests that the OnePlus 6T will be slightly more expensive than the OnePlus 6 in all markets.
In just under two weeks the OnePlus 6T will be official and all our burning questions surrounding the latest T-series phone will have been answered. Chief among those unanswered questions is how much the phone will cost.
Thanks to a new leak allegedly revealing the phone’s launch details in India we not only have a better idea of what models are on the way, we might also be able to at least hazard a guess at the global price.
According to information obtained by MySmartPrice, there will be three OnePlus 6T variants much like its predecessor, the OnePlus 6.
The three models this time reportedly pack between 6GB to 8GB of RAM and between 128GB to 256GB internal storage. As for pricing and color options, you can see the breakdown in the table below:
The reported prices suggest that this will be the most expensive OnePlus 6T to ever launch in India, although this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering every flagship OnePlus phone has been more expensive than the last.
At 37,999 rupees, the base model OnePlus 6T comes out at ~$517, although it’s incredibly likely that won’t be the price we’ll see in the U.S. What’s more interesting is that the OnePlus 6 debuted at 34,999 rupees and $529. That suggests we’re only looking at a minor price bump for the OnePlus 6T, which, if I were to take a guess, I’d say should come out at $549.
The report also suggests that only Mirror Black and Midnight Black colorways will be available at launch. OnePlus has a habit of releasing new colors gradually, so if you’re hoping to pick up a fancy Red or Silk White version like the OnePlus 6 you’ll probably have to hang onto your cash for a bit.
