OnePlus 8 renders leak, show off colors like 'Interstellar Glow'
Newly leaked OnePlus 8 renders from Winfuture.de have hit the internet this weekend. The images, which the site claims are official marketing renders for the upcoming phone, show off its reported new colors.
These new images would seem to confirm previously reported render leaks about the design for the OnePlus 8. The notch in the OnePlus 7/7T phones is gone, replaced by a punch-hole front-facing camera in the upper left corner. The renders also show the almost bezel-free design of the front display. Finally, the back of the phone shows its triple rear camera setup, and the previously revealed revamp of the company’s logo.
What’s new in this OnePlus 8 render leak is the look of the phone’s back colors. The most striking is the multi-colored design that starts out as purple on top, and slowly changes to a light yellow tint at the bottom (see the main image above). Another tech leaker, Ishan Agarwal, claims on his Twitter page that the official color name for this design is “Interstellar Glow.”
The other two color designs in this leak include a green version of the OnePlus 8, which Agarwal claims will be called “Glacial Green.” Finally, there’s your basic black color which will reportedly be labeled “Onyx Black.” Keep in mind that OnePlus has not confirmed that these render leaks are official, nor has the company confirmed the color names, so take all of this with a pinch of salt.
So when will the OnePlus 8 family of phones be officially revealed? Right now, most unconfirmed reports claim that the handsets will be announced some time in mid-April. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait much longer for the next version of the “affordable flagship” smartphone.
What do you think of this latest OnePlus 8 renders leak, and do you like the look of the phone’s color choices?
