Leak: Here's how the OnePlus 9 series displays could differ
- A new leak may have given us display-related specs for the OnePlus 9 series.
- The leaker also revealed what could be battery and charging details.
The OnePlus 9 series is tipped for launch later this year, and we’ve already seen a few apparent leaks. From the name to the design, a clear picture is starting to emerge ahead of the launch date.
Now, yet another tipster may have dished out some details. Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station claimed that the OnePlus 9 will pack a 6.55-inch FHD+ 120Hz flat screen. Meanwhile, the leaker says the OnePlus 9 Pro will serve up a 6.78-inch QHD+ 120Hz curved panel. Both are tipped to offer a punch-hole cutout in the left corner.
This isn’t the information on offer from the source either, as they claimed that you can expect a 4,500mAh battery as well. Furthermore, the leaker noted in a comment below the post that 65W fast charging will be on offer too.
It’s unclear whether the claimed battery size and fast charging speed applies to both devices though. The OnePlus 8 series shared identical wired charging speeds, for example, but the Pro variant offered a slightly bigger battery and wireless charging. So we wouldn’t be surprised if the same scenario plays out with the OnePlus 9 series.
The leak also comes a few days after it was revealed that OnePlus and OPPO are essentially unifying their R&D efforts. So we’re expecting 2021’s OnePlus and OPPO devices to have more in common with each other.
