OnePlus Nord 2 CE renders leak: Don't expect an alert slider here
- OnePlus Nord 2 CE renders have been posted online.
- The images show a phone with a 3.5mm port but no alert slider.
- The design also seems to be inspired by the OnePlus 9 family.
We first heard about the OnePlus Nord 2 CE and its supposed specs a few days ago, looking like an iterative upgrade over the original Nord CE. Now, the phone’s renders have apparently leaked online, giving us a look at the upcoming budget phone’s design.
Images have surfaced via 91mobiles and leaker Yogesh Brar, showing a phone that drops the Nord CE’s vertical rear camera strip in favor of a camera housing akin to the OnePlus 9 series. That means two rear cameras arranged vertically, flanked by a much smaller camera sensor and flash. You can view the renders below, as well as a model in a green colorway above.
Otherwise, the renders show a left-aligned punch-hole cutout on the front, as well as a 3.5mm port at the bottom of the phone. We also see a power button on the right-hand side while the volume keys are on the left edge of the phone. True to the outlet’s previous coverage, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE doesn’t seem to have an alert slider. So you might want to splash out on a higher-end OnePlus phone if that switch is important to you.
In case you missed it, the Nord 2 CE is tipped to arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, a 6.4-inch 90Hz OLED screen, and a 4,500mAh battery with 65W charging. It’s also expected to offer a 64MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP macro lens.
The phone is said to arrive in Q1 2022, so we might not have long to wait to find out all the details (including all-important pricing).
