Leak: OnePlus Nord 2 may be in the works, codename revealed
- OnePlus is apparently working on the Nord 2, said to be codenamed Denniz.
- Little else is known about the Nord successor at this stage.
OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord earlier this year, following up with the Nord N10 and Nord N100 last month. Now, it looks like the firm is already working on a follow-up to the standard Nord model.
Frequent leaker Max Jambor posted a cryptic teaser on Twitter for a product codenamed Denniz. Jambor then confirmed to PhoneArena that Denniz is the codename of the OnePlus Nord 2. Check out the teaser image below.
The Nord was originally codenamed Avicii after the late Swedish DJ, so we’re guessing that Denniz is a nod to late Swedish DJ Denniz Pop.
In any event, we don’t know anything else about the OnePlus Nord 2 at this point. But if it’s anything like the original model, then we’re expecting a Snapdragon 700 series processor (like the rumored Snapdragon 775 series), high refresh rate OLED screen, 5G connectivity, and 30W+ fast charging.
Our main complaint with the Nord was that picture quality was merely okay, so hopefully OnePlus ups its image processing game with the Nord 2.
