OnePlus Nord 3 specs leak: Another rebrand on the cards?
- Specs for an upcoming OnePlus phone, believed to be the Nord 3, have leaked online.
- The specs seem very similar if not identical to previously leaked realme GT Neo 3 specs.
OnePlus is widely expected to launch its Nord 3 smartphone later this year, and we heard a while back that the phone could be based on the upcoming realme GT Neo 3.
Now, veteran tipster Digital Chat Station has posted apparent specs for an upcoming OnePlus phone on Weibo, which could be the OnePlus Nord 3. Check out the machine-translated screenshot below.
The post asserts that the new device will be equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ flat screen (complete with a center-mounted punch-hole cutout), a Dimensity 8100 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery with 150W fast charging.
Digital Chat Station also claims that the supposed Nord 3 will have a 50MP IMX766 main camera, an 8MP secondary shooter (presumably ultrawide), and a 2MP sensor. A 16MP camera is said to handle selfie duties.
Just another rebrand?
Some of this info lines up with OnePlus’ own confirmations that it will offer a 150W charging phone and that it will offer the Dimensity 8100 SoC as well. But realme has previously stated that its upcoming GT Neo 3 is powered by a Dimensity 8100 and will have 150W charging too.
Lending credence to suspicions of a rebranding exercise is the fact that the leaked Weibo specs above seem remarkably similar to previously leaked realme GT Neo 3 specs. Aside from the processor and charging speed, it looks like the two phones have an identical camera setup, screen size, and battery capacity too.
