- A leak has revealed details about the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite.
- The leak suggests the phone may have a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
- The leaker also claims it will be powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset.
Update, March 3, 2023 (10:20 AM ET): It appears that OnePlus has changed its plans, according to tipster OnLeaks. The design and specs that were leaked back in November now appear to represent the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite and not the Nord CE 3.
Original article, November 9, 2022 (2:27 PM ET): As we get closer to the end of the year and the potential early 2023 launch date, leaks have started to emerge about the successor to the OnePlus Nord CE 2. The newest leak appears to reveal the full specs of the upcoming handset.
In coordination with prolific leaker, OnLeaks, GadgetGang has reportedly obtained the complete spec sheet of the OnePlus Nord CE 3. According to the leak, the CE 3 may have a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition, it seems like it may be powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G chip. It also appears it could offer 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Moving on to the cameras, it looks like the CE 3 will have a three-camera setup. The phone is expected to have a 108MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor, similar to the OnePlus Nord CE 2 lite. This is different from the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G that had an ultrawide instead of a depth sensor. It’s also expected that the front of the phone could have a 16MP selfie camera.
Finally, the leak shows that the CE 3 may have a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 5,000mAh battery, and 67W fast charging support. This would put the charging speed above a lot of flagship phones.
This year, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G launched in February. It’s possible that OnePlus could be planning to release the OnePlus Nord CE 3 around the same time next year. However, there are no confirmed dates as of yet.
