A new OnePlus phone just hit the FCC, could be North America exclusive

If rumors prove correct, though, you shouldn't expect this phone to be a powerhouse.

TL;DR
  • A phone that appears to be the OnePlus Nord N300 just passed through the FCC.
  • It’s possible the new device could be a North American exclusive.
  • It would likely be a budget phone, just like its two predecessors.

OnePlus has been on an absolute tear recently, launching phones on what feels like a monthly basis. It doesn’t look like the company has any plans to slow down, either, as we have yet another phone on the horizon.

The FCC just saw a OnePlus device labeled “CPH2389” (via GSM Arena). Rumors suggest this could be the as-yet-unannounced OnePlus Nord N300. This phone could be exclusive to North American customers, which we saw with its predecessors: the Nord N100 and Nord N200.

As with those two previous phones, the Nord N300 should be a budget-minded phone. It would likely have a pretty weak processor, low-grade hardware, and the simplest of camera setups. However, it should also have an incredibly low price. The Nord N200, for example, landed with an MSRP of just $240.

Although unconfirmed, it’s possible the OnePlus Nord N300 could land at the same price. Specs and hardware info remains elusive at the moment, unfortunately.

If you’re disappointed by the low-grade experience we expect from this phone, don’t worry: OnePlus has at least one more flagship-level device on the way this year. It could be the OnePlus 10 or the OnePlus 10T, but it will be much more akin to the experience offered by the OnePlus 10 Pro.
