A rundown of the OnePlus Nord specs
The Nord is equipped with a 5G-enabled Snapdragon 765G processor that’s definitely a step or two below the OnePlus 8 series‘ Snapdragon 865 SoC. Nevertheless, the chipset is still pretty nippy, and the 8GB to 12GB of RAM should still make for a relatively smooth experience. You’ve also got 128GB to 256GB of storage, although you’ll have to make do without storage expansion as usual.
It wouldn’t be an upper mid-range release in 2020 without a high-refresh rate screen, and OnePlus has delivered a 6.44-inch 90Hz OLED screen here (FHD+). Expect smoother system animations and more fluid, responsive gaming in select titles.

5G connectivity and a high refresh rate both contribute to increased power consumption. The OnePlus Nord is also equipped with a 4,115mAh battery. This is in between the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 7T in terms of sheer capacity, but we’ll have to spend more time with the phone to figure out its actual endurance.

What else does the OnePlus Nord have?
There are plenty of great OnePlus Nord specs here. OnePlus will let you charge up pretty quickly, thanks to Warp Charge 30T technology. This will let you hit 70% capacity in 30 minutes. Sadly, the company didn’t reveal charging times for zero to 100%.

The OnePlus Nord is no slouch when it comes to the sheer number of cameras aboard. You’ve got a quad rear camera setup and a dual selfie camera pairing. The quad rear cameras consist of a 48MP main shooter (IMX586), 8MP ultra-wide snapper, 5MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro camera. In other words, you’re not getting telephoto zoom or anything fancy. Switching to the front, the phone packs a 32MP main shooter and an 8MP ultra-wide camera for group selfies.
Other notable features include Oxygen OS 11.1 based on Android 11, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and NFC.
