OPPO F1 Plus goes on sale in India for Rs. 26,990
OPPO’s new F1 Plus, which is essentially the R9 that was announced back in February, is now on sale in India, following a series of pre-orders that started back on April 11th. The smartphone is available in stores located across various regions, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, among others.
The smartphone offers up some rather attractive specifications, including a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 2.0 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded. The F1 Plus also features dual-SIM support, a fingerprint scanner, Android 5.1 Lollipop with Color OS 3.0, VOOC Flash charging, and a 2,850mAh battery.
“The smartphone self-portrait or ‘Selfie’ has established itself as a form of self-expression and we are only looking to support this fact with our OPPO F1 Plus with 16MP front camera” – Sky Li, OPPO Global VP
The big selling point of OPPO F1 Plus though is it’s impressive 16 megapixel front facing camera, designed to offer up the perfect selfie. This camera features a 78.1-degree wide-angle lens and an f/2.0 aperture. The rear camera is a 13 megapixel sensor, complete with LED flash, PDAF autofocus, 4K video recording capabilities, and an f/2.2 aperture. There’s plenty for photography enthusiasts to play around with here.
The OPPO F1 Plus will set customers back Rs. 26,990. If you like the look of it, you can go out and purchase one today. If you’re not living in India, the handset already made its way to some international markets back at the beginning of April and should be heading to Europe next month.
